Dr. Fiorelli is a physician trained at the University of Sao Francisco (Brazil). She obtained Ophthalmology specialization at Santa Casa of Sao Paulo Medical College (Brazil), where she also completed a fellowship in External Diseases and Cornea. After her fellowship she continued at Santa Casa of Sao Paulo participating as a Volunteer Professor. Along her career, Dr Fiorelli revealed great interest on medical research. In 2007, she received The Troutman Veronneau Prize (Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology Award) which resulted in a research fellowship in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis at Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution (Cambridge- MA).
Dr. Fiorelli is the Director of clinical research at The FERST Eye Institute, and responsible for general medical administration.
